Harold L. Trott, SSC, Pastor
For most of his life, Pastor Trott has been bi-vocational. While serving Our Lord as a pastor in His Church, he also served as an educator on the junior high (middle school), high school, and college levels. Pastor Trott has also served as an adjunct instructor of Sacred Scripture for the Trinity School for the Ministry, and was Dean of the Diocese of the Rio Grande School for Ministry.
Pastor Trott is firmly committed to the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ and historic and Biblical Christianity and “speaks the truth in love.” Under his leadership, the Church of Our Lord does not “bash” any type of orthodox Christian of any denomination and jurisdiction. Instead, we positively teach the truth as it is in Jesus. Central to his belief and teaching are these words by Dr. Martin Luther:
The pastor of the Church of Our Lord is Harold L. Trott, SSC.
He is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and has served in the ordained ministry since 19 August 1962.
“I believe that Jesus Christ, true God, begotten from the Father from eternity, and also true man, born of the Virgin Mary, is my Lord, who has redeemed me, a lost and condemned person, purchased and won me from my sins, from death, and from the power of the devil; not with gold and silver, but with His holy, precious blood and with His innocent suffering and death, that I might be His own and live under Him in His kingdom and serve Him in everlasting righteousness, innocence, and blessedness, just as He is risen from the dead, lives, and reigns to all eternity. This is most certainly true.”
The Bible, which points to Jesus Christ in both the Old and New Testaments, teaches a faith and way of life that Pastor Trott sincerely believes and earnestly desires to share with all. He welcomes all to the the Church of Our Lord. This Church is all about Jesus!
